On Wednesday, May 11, you will have a very short spelling and grammar test (it will be one test combined). I will give you the spelling words this Sunday. The test is short because you will have a much bigger grammar test during the last week of school when you have all of your exams. This will also help you to start studying for that big exam!
In the meantime, you should start studying for the grammar. The topics we have covered since your last test are: tenses (past, present, future, progressive - make sure you study the irregular verbs!), adverbs and prepositions, quotation marks, negative words, and homographs. Even though we are learning about the perfect and perfect continuous forms this week, they will NOT be on your test. I just wanted you to start learning other tenses that you will learn more about in 5th grade! Aren't I nice? :)
Start studying your grammar notes and all the worksheets I gave you. This weekend I will put up links for grammar games.
